About This Role
Seeking an experienced MLWD Specialist to deliver safe, high‑quality wellsite services, support clients with real‑time technical insights, and manage MLWD tools, data, and reporting. FIFO 4/2 roster on a 6‑month contract. Ideal for candidates with 3+ years MLWD field/offshore experience, strong communication skills, and a strong safety focus.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Adhere to the client's Quality and QHSE policies and procedures.
* Represent the service provider at the wellsite and interface with the customer.
* Inform clients of any unusual job conditions and maintain direct contact throughout service delivery.
* Deliver services in line with directional drilling and MLWD processes – design, prepare, execute and close.
* Ensure accurate inventory management and proper receiving/dispatching of equipment.
* Capture field data and ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
* Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs.
* Attend Service Quality Meetings and support performance improvements through action plans.
* Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
* Maintain all required safety training.
* Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards through CAT, self‑assessments, and wellsite inspections.
Requirements
* Two‑year technical degree (associate degree) is desirable.
* Minimum three (3) years of field and offshore experience leading any MLWD job.
* Ability to assist clients by providing solutions for drilling issues.
* Experience with end‑of‑well reports / client's final product delivery.
* Competency in industry‑standard MLWD software (e.g., Maxwell, HSPM, DOX, PTK, etc.) is desirable.
* Valid BOSIET, MSIC, ISI and OGUK medical certificate is desirable.
* Valid HR/ HC/ MC driver's licence is desirable.
* Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication, highly self‑motivated, competent computer skills, and ability to learn new software.
* Can work in a high‑pressure, learn quickly and adapt to new problems and situations.
* Ability to maintain, prepare and dispatch equipment and execute high‑quality service delivery at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation.
* Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organisation, and a good communicator.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills essential.
* Available to start as soon as possible.
