Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll drive operational efficiency, lead by example, and empower your team to deliver exceptional coffee and unforgettable customer experiences.

Full-time Assistant Manager at our Springfield (Ipswich) location.

Key responsibilities include:
Customer experience– provide and ensure customers are given exceptional customer service.
Coffee production– prepare a variety of coffee and beverages according to Merlo standards.
Team management & succession planning– Effectively communicate with all staff to ensure they align with the store and Merlo Coffee’s goals. Coach and mentor staff to consistently exceed expectations in their role.
Financial management– Ensure the store reaches its short- and long-term goals and budgets.
Store management– Ensure the store is held to a high level of cleanliness and all food and workplace safety procedures are followed including stock and quality control.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
Full-Time available: 5 days on, 2 days off.
A proven aptitude and experience in staff management.
Strong passion for coffee and commitment to the success of Merlo.
High volume, coffee making experience.
Demonstrated ability to train, coach and develop staff.
A keen interest in long term career progression within the business.
A fun, hardworking and energetic attitude towards work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
