About the role
The Senior Console Operator is responsible for providing ongoing support to the Retail Store Manager in the administration of day‐to‐day operations of the store. This role is a combination of front‐facing customer service and managerial duties.
Key Duties
* Console Operator duties including customer service, processing sales transactions, upselling and maintaining store presentation.
* Inventory management and stock control.
* Assistance with last‐minute roster changes.
* Filing and general admin tasks.
* Supporting Retail Store Manager tasks in their absence, including financial reconciliations, ordering, timesheet approvals, etc.
* Training and recommending new store employees for sign‐off.
* Any other duties as reasonably required.
What you will bring to Park
* Minimum 2 years of Console Operator or Store Manager (fuel) experience.
* Applicants with food preparation and/or fuel experience will be highly favourable.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High standards of customer service and presentation.
* Collaborative attitude with eagerness to obtain new skills.
* Adaptability and resilience to work in a fast‐paced environment.
* Keen eye for detail and safety.
* Strong sense of self‐accountability and self‐motivation.
