FinXL is seeking an End-to-End (E2E) 5G Network Architect to join our consulting team on a key transformation engagement, designing voice & SMS scam prevention and 5G Core/IMS solutions for a leading telco client.
Responsibilities
* Design and govern the full end-to-end architecture for Voice and SMS Scam Prevention.
* Own E2E control-plane and user-plane design across 5G Core and IMS networks.
* Lead convergence across VoLTE, VoNR, VoWiFi, Fixed Voice SIP, and legacy systems.
* Design network architecture compliant with ACMA and TSRMP regulatory frameworks.
* Build systems capable of compliant logs, audit trails, and data sharing.
* Collaborate with government agencies and industry councils for national alignment.
* Evaluate and govern SMS firewalls, voice firewalls, and fraud management systems.
Key Skills & Experience
* Deep technical expertise in 5G Core capabilities, IMS, and Messaging architecture.
* Strong experience in scam detection, mitigation, and voice/SMS fraud typologies.
* Expertise in SMS Firewall technologies, filtering, and signalling protection.
* Familiarity with frameworks like STIR/SHAKEN and CLI authentication.
* Understanding of ML/AI-driven fraud detection and behavioral analytics platforms.
* Comprehensive knowledge of ACMA regulations, Spam/Scam Codes, and TSRMP rules.
* Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GSMA compliance training.
