Electrical Operator Role Overview
The electrical operator plays a pivotal role in the ongoing operation of production equipment, ensuring maintenance of machinery, equipment, and services on site to achieve or exceed site objectives (production, quality, spoilage). The successful candidate will actively pursue electrical maintenance improvements to attain production targets and enhance plant uptime.
* Maintain site equipment and machinery by conducting preventative maintenance according to site requirements.
* Dissemble, assess, repair, and reassemble machines, equipment, and components as needed.
* Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and take corrective action.
* Operate production machinery in accordance with site requirements.
* Troubleshoot machines and equipment by making assessments of machinery issues and estimating duration of time to repair.
* Utilize tools such as MEX, log books, PM check sheets, schematic drawings, sketches, diagrams, and technical manuals to connect services where required.
* Suggest areas of improvement and participate in improvement opportunities.
* Demonstrate an exemplary safety ethic and lead by example in driving standards for health, safety, and wellbeing.
