Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Project Manager to oversee our tailings dam lift works situated in Northwest Queensland.
This role involves delivering civil infrastructure projects to the highest standards - with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of tailings dam lift and other site-related projects
* Manage on-site teams, supervisors, engineers and subcontractors, and civil crews to ensure project milestones are met
* Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality controls
* Liaise with stakeholders including clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and environmental standards
About You:
* Proven experience managing civil projects within the mining/resources industry
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with tailings dam construction/lifts
* Familiarity with metalliferous mining operations, ideally in Queensland
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
