Assistant Manager – Private Business & Family Advisory Full-time · Permanent · Private Business Advisory · Adelaide Are you a CA or CPA with a passion for private business and a talent for building trusted client relationships? We're looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a well-established advisory division and play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to a broad portfolio of private clients. What you'll do Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements across a range of entity structures Identify tax planning opportunities including Division 7A, CGT, SBE concessions, and FBT issues Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day client communications and advisory queries Coordinate workflow across the team, reviewing and quality-checking work before Manager sign-off Coach and mentor graduate and junior accountants, contributing to a collaborative team culture Support the development of client proposals and contribute to portfolio growth initiatives Champion process improvements using Xero and other firm systems What you'll bring CA or CPA qualified (or progressing towards completion) 5 years of experience in public practice accounting Proven technical skills across financial statements and tax compliance for trusts, companies, and individuals Proficiency in Xero and similar accounting platforms Strong communication skills and a commercial mindset Ability to manage competing deadlines and remain composed under pressure A genuine interest in developing others and sharing your expertise Why this role?
