Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our Building Design Projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and drafters to deliver building design projects from concept to completion
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
* Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
* Manage risks, issues, and changes to ensure project objectives are met
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to team members
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
* Participate in business development activities to identify new opportunities and grow existing client relationships
* Analyze project data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* At least 10 years of experience in building design projects, with a focus on project management
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and practices
* Experience with BIM/Revit and other digital tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
