About The Opportunity

In this role, you'll partner with internal stakeholders across Council to provide practical, compliant, and customer-focused procurement and contracts support. You'll be involved end-to-end in procurement activities—supporting tender processes, contract management, evaluations, expenditure analysis, and procurement strategy—while ensuring all activity aligns with legislation, probity, and Council policies.

A key component of this role includes drafting, preparing and managing contracts and procurement documentation to support Council's operational and strategic objectives.

About You
* Relevant qualifications, currently studying or willingness to undertake within 12 months, in fields such as commerce, accounting, law, supply chain management, or procurement.
* Demonstrated experience in preparation of reports, documents, evaluation reports and external market facing documents.
* Ability to provide excellent customer service, developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work in and contribute to a professional high performing team.
* Knowledge of supply management strategies including tendering and contracts management, and vendor management is highly regarded.
* High level experience working in electronic records management systems, finance and procurement systems, and MS Office Suite.
* Hold a current C Class drivers licence.
