Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply‐chain solutions, from end‐to‐end or partial solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport services, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.

Inventory Controller – Laverton North
Based in Laverton North, this role supports a Dangerous & Hazardous Goods facility that services major ASX‐listed chemical suppliers and manufacturers. The site operates under a fast‐paced safety‐and‐compliance framework.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an Inventory Controller to join our Resources and Industrials division.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that products are properly accounted for and stored, contributing to smooth operations.
* Ensure all inbound and outbound orders align with our WMS.
* Perform regular inventory audits and analyses.
* Review, develop, and implement quality‐control techniques and procedures to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Maintain a high standard of accuracy during annual stocktakes and cycle counts.
* Consult with site management, customer representatives and suppliers regarding inventory activities; investigate root causes of variances, manage system reconciliation and coordinate disposal of obsolete, damaged or expired stocks; ensure effective labeling and management of customer stock.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1+ year experience in inventory or warehousing/logistics.
* Industry experience in chemicals, hazardous goods or FMCG is advantageous.
* Initiative‐taking and results‐driven mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Experience using MS Office 365, Outlook, Excel, and prior use of RF terminals/scanners.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
