You’ll be the organisational backbone for two dynamic teams within Westpac Institutional Bank: Business Controls & Monitoring (BCM) and Financial Crime & Fraud. This permanent full-time role is based in Sydney, with a hybrid work model (minimum three days in the office). You’ll work closely with senior leaders and their teams, providing high-level administrative support that keeps everything running smoothly. From managing complex diaries and coordinating travel, to planning team events and ensuring compliance requirements are met, you’ll be trusted to take ownership of a wide range of tasks. You’ll be responsible for onboarding/offboarding and transferring of staff and expense management for the team. What do I need? We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, adaptable, and always a few steps ahead, anticipating needs, solving problems, and making life easier for those around you. You will have a solid skillset, including: Previous experience as a Team Assistant or in a similar support role. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to senior leaders. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and a willingness to learn new AI tools like Copilot. A high level of discretion and professionalism as you’ll be trusted with sensitive information and expected to maintain confidentiality at all times. Why join us?
