The School of Biomedical Sciences delivers discipline‐based education across biomedical science and contributes extensively to teaching across Monash's health professional programs, supported by world‐class research and teaching infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership aligned with Sub‐Faculty, Faculty and University prioritiesLead academic planning, resource allocation and operational performance across the BDI and SchoolStrengthen research excellence through competitive grant success, interdisciplinary collaboration and high‐impact scholarly outputProvide leadership in teaching, curriculum development and research trainingBuild strong partnerships across Monash, government, industry, clinical networks and international collaboratorsLead and develop a large and diverse academic community, supporting staff capability, performance and wellbeingManage a significant budget and ensure effective stewardship of resourcesAbout You You will be a distinguished academic with an international profile in biomedicine or a related discipline, recognised for outstanding scholarly achievement, research leadership and contributions to education. You will bring demonstrated experience leading complex academic units, strong strategic and operational capability, and a collaborative, inclusive leadership style.
