Latitude Recruitment is proud to partner with Kerang District Health in the search for a Quality and Risk Manager to join their senior leadership team. This is a senior management role reporting directly to the CEO, offering the opportunity to make a strategic impact in a progressive rural health service.
As the Quality and Risk Manager, you will lead the ongoing development and implementation of quality improvement and clinical governance frameworks. You will play a vital role in maintaining accreditation, driving a culture of safety and accountability, ensuring legislative compliance, and enhancing consumer engagement across the organisation.
This is a part-time position (0.8 FTE) with flexibility for the right candidate.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Clinical Qualification in Nursing or Allied Health or related health discipline
A relevant post graduate qualification or working towards is desirable
Demonstrated experience, high-level working knowledge and understanding of clinical governance, accreditation standards, patient safety and clinical risk management
Ability to manage competing priorities and respond to emerging needs
Experience with data systems – VHIMS and PROMPT
Experience in Legislative Compliance is desirable
Ability to negotiate with people at all levels both internal and external
Lead change in a complex environment
High level of written and verbal skills
Immunisation History evidence
Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
Current and valid Police Clearance
