Technology Delivery Manager
We're actively looking for a Technology Delivery Manager to translate strategy into execution and ensure delivery with pace, quality and confidence. In the Technology team and reporting to the Head of Technology, you will deliver technology and data initiatives reliably, predictably, and aligned to business priorities, across enterprise systems and high‐availability broadcast, content and digital platforms.
About The Role
* End‐to‐end delivery ownership – lead delivery of data and development initiatives, ensuring outcomes are delivered to agreed standards.
* Planning & coordination – build and maintain integrated delivery plans, managing dependencies, sequencing and resourcing across multiple teams.
* Governance & cadence – facilitate planning, prioritisation and delivery forums, including stand‐ups, showcases and governance updates and provide clear, transparent reporting on progress, risks and outcomes.
* Risk & issue management – proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies and trade‐offs, ensuring mitigation actions are in place and tracked.
* Stakeholder alignment – partner closely with Product Owners, Data and Technology stakeholders to keep priorities clear and delivery outcome‐focused.
* Offshore & vendor management – coordinate across onshore and offshore teams, ensuring clear requirements, strong cadence and aligned expectations; drive vendor performance through clear scopes, measurable deliverables and quality standards.
* Quality & release readiness – ensure delivery quality through testing, data validation and release readiness, balancing speed with stability and governance.
* Continuous improvement – strengthen delivery ways of working, tools and practices to improve predictability, quality and efficiency across the program.
About You
* Proven experience leading delivery across data and/or software development initiatives.
* Strong planning and dependency management capability across multiple workstreams.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills – confident influencing and aligning across teams.
* Experience coordinating onshore and offshore delivery teams.
* Strong vendor management capability, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
* Solid understanding of delivery practices (Agile or hybrid), governance and reporting.
* Working knowledge of data and analytics delivery (e.g. pipelines, BI/reporting, APIs) and the broader software development life cycle.
