Your opportunity:
We have a full-time opportunity for a Pharmacist Manager to join our team in Brisbane's exciting new Medicinal Cannabis clinic and dispensary. Whether you are a Pharmacist wanting to move away from retail to something more grass roots, or looking to master new career challenges, this opportunity will excite you.
You will lead a team that provides face to face and remote Medical and Pharmacy services to patients from diverse backgrounds, delivering patient education and medicines to change lives in ways that previously were not possible.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to be mentored in an evolving health space to help lead a team of Technicians, Receptionists, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Doctors. We are a progressive team, maximising opportunities for change, growth and better patient outcomes.
Current pharmacist registration with AHPRA is required at time of application.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
Your role will include:
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the practice encompassing staffing, stock logistics, process and protocol.
* Proactive Leadership: Lead by example, providing proactive leadership to your team while fostering a culture of improvement and professional growth.
* Expert Consultations: Beyond filling prescriptions, you'll provide expert advice and counselling to patients and collaborate with medical professionals to enhance patient care
* Educating and counselling patients in the use of Medicinal Cannabis and the associated medical equipment (training provided)
* No prior medicinal cannabis experience is required as full training will be provided for all aspects of medicinal cannabis practice.
* Supervising Dispense Technicians in the dispensing of Medicinal Cannabis and associated professional protocols and administration tasks.
