Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Centre in Bundaberg on a casual basis, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. As a key member of our close-knit team of experienced nurses, you will play an integral role in providing patients with a supportive and exceptional treatment experience.

Responsibilities
* Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patient's physical and psychological needs are met.
* Undertake direct patient care including education, wound management and medication administration as per Practice Protocol.
* Effectively manage the patients that are seen each day.
* Facilitate effective lines of communication with doctors, patient services, physicists and radiation therapists and provide feedback and up-to-date information regarding patients.
* Ensure all patient interaction is documented, communicated and actioned.

Requirements
* Have a current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Have a minimum 2 years post-graduate experience (preferred).
* Hold a background in oncology nursing, but not essential.
* Possess exemplary interpersonal communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy for all patients and their carers.
* Have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Show commitment to the application of best practice principles and quality improvement including the NSQHS.
* Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development.
