$68.00 per hour flat rate, plus Superannuation on every hour
Based in Arundel QLD, we have positions available for the right candidates. As a qualified generator electrician you will engage in diverse tasks, performing field service works from time to time and internal workshop projects. Your duties will encompass electrical, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs to diesel and battery powered equipment. You will have a problem‐solving, inquisitive, and technical nature, and you will be excited by the challenges of working with diesel generators in the field whilst also having a strong ability to provide great customer service and be able to work in an autonomous role.
We need people who have high level of attention to detail, positive attitude and willingness to drive production/equipment out the door, please only apply if this is you.
The Requirements
* Current QLD Electrical Work License is essential.
* The proven ability to work unsupervised.
* Current QLD driver's license is essential.
* Experience in stand‐alone power generation equipment and generator control systems or proven industrial electrical experience.
* Experience in following control schematics highly regarded.
* Knowledge of Perkins, Cummins and Kubota Diesel Engines is an advantage but not necessary.
* Current CPR/LVR.
* General mechanical skills will be highly regarded.
* Forklift License is desirable but not essential.
* Experience with renewable and sustainable power generation is preferred but not essential.
The Essentials
* Read drawings (electrical schematics).
* Generator and lighting tower knowledge.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
The Nice to Have
* Load testing (load bank).
* Able to service a generator (change filters/oil etc).
