The project aims to transform how support is delivered to families and individuals experiencing family and domestic violence in the state.
About the Role
As a Project Officer, you will work alongside the Project Manager and provide a range of project management and support services to ensure milestones and deliverables are met in a timely manner.
You will coordinate high-level logistics, stakeholder engagement, meeting and documentation administration as well as project communications.
The role requires strong collaboration with other project delivery partners to ensure smooth execution of all project-associated activities.
This is a 2-year maximum term contract with a base in East Perth.
Requirements
* An undergraduate degree in social work, community development, project management, public policy or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in high-level project coordination and administration, preferably within the family and domestic violence social services sector.
* Recent and relevant working knowledge of current theories, practices, and literature in social services collaboration, particularly related to family and domestic violence service delivery.
* Experience in data sharing, data governance and compliance, system interoperability, and impact monitoring.
* Experience in assessing and managing ongoing risk in service delivery.
* Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* High-level interpersonal communication and analytical skills.
* Critical reflection of practice skills to inform continuous improvement.
* Able to work independently and creatively using initiative and a reasonable degree of autonomy.
* Able to be flexible, adaptive, and resilient when working with complex client groups and safety risks.
