We are expanding and seeking a skilled qualified painter for secure, long-term full-time employment.
Position Description Key Responsibilities: Surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, filling, sealing) and patch repairs; Internal and external painting — brush, roller, spray — of residences and commercial premises; Applying paints, stains, varnishes, sealers and protective coatings; Reading and following work orders, colour-schedules and specification documents; Maintaining tools, equipment, vehicle (if provided), and ensuring safety and WHS compliance; Interacting with clients professionally to ensure high-quality finishes; Estimating labour, materials and time needed where required; Occasional overtime, weekend or after-hours work as projects demand.
Required Skills Experience: Certificate III in Painting and Decorating; Possession of White Card (Construction Induction) and EWPA Card; Proven experience as a qualified Painter (minimum 2 years), residential and/or commercial painting; Robust work ethic; Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality; Good knowledge of surface preparation, paint types and application techniques; Ability to work unsupervised and independently; Valid police clearance.
