The role
We're looking for an experienced Machinist / Welder / Maintenance Fitter to join our Casino team. This is a hands‐on, full‐time opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, keeping equipment running, and working in a business that values reliability, teamwork and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the plant and equipment that keeps our operation moving safely and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
* Carry out machining, welding and maintenance across a range of processing equipment
* Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
* Complete preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability
* Fabricate, modify and install parts and equipment as needed
* Maintain clear maintenance records and follow site procedures
* Work to high safety, quality and housekeeping standards
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualifications, such as Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
* Experience as a Machinist, Welder or Maintenance Fitter in manufacturing, food processing or a similar environment
* Strong fault‐finding, problem‐solving and mechanical repair skills
* Welding capability across MIG, TIG and stick
* A team‐first attitude and the ability to work well in a fast‐paced environment
* Willingness to engage in a flexible rotating roster, with shared weekend coverage contributing to team success
* Strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
