Role Overview
This senior nursing leadership role oversees Community Nursing Services, encompassing District Nursing, Community Palliative Care, specialist nursing services and the Pathways to Good Health program.
The successful candidate will operationalise core values supporting effective management and professional leadership within an integrated health service.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and coordinate policy implementation ensuring staff adherence.
* Participate in senior-level decision making and communicate with executives on organisational issues.
* Ensure executives are informed of practices creating risk or inhibiting patient care delivery.
* Contribute to decision making using critical thinking skills.
Qualifications and Experience Required
* Registered Nurse Division 1 registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Qualifications and/or experience in business/health management or working towards same.
* Membership of relevant professional college/organisation.
