Description
Reporting to the Supply Chain Coordinator, this role is responsible for supporting warehouse and inventory operations to ensure materials, parts, and equipment are received, stored, and distributed efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting procurement activities, coordinating logistics tasks, and ensuring warehouse operations are maintained to a high operational standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining warehouse and storage facilities to a high standard
* Unloading, receipting, and distributing incoming goods and materials
* Assisting with purchasing and procurement activities
* Coordinating locally sourced requisitions and collections
* Managing inventory, stock control, and reporting through ERP systems
* Conducting rolling stocktakes and annual inventory counts
* Investigating and reconciling stock variances
* Supporting logistics and supply chain operations
* Assisting with inventory identification and stock maintenance
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and operational processes
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation across inventory and procurement activities
* Ensuring compliance with workplace safety and operational procedures

Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a reliable and detail‐oriented warehouse or logistics professional with strong organisational skills and previous experience working within a fast‐paced operational environment. You will thrive in a hands‐on role and have the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining close attention to detail and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Bring
* Previous experience in warehousing, stores, logistics, or procurement
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Attention to detail and problem‐solving capability
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
* Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (highly regarded)
* Forklift Licence is highly regarded
* LR Licence or willingness to obtain
* Exposure to mining, transport, marine, or industrial environments is advantageous
* Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
