The role of the Intern in Medical Affairs is to assist in the implementation of clinical research, clinical evidence documentation, design projects, post market clinical follow up, sustaining projects, process improvement activities, and product testing.
As an Intern, you will assist in the research, evaluation, development or testing of products and processes using clinical and/or engineering skills within Quality Standards.
We expect that you are currently undertaking a Health Science degree (medicine, nursing, psychology, physical therapy, occupation therapy, paramedics, etc) or equivalent and come from an indigenous background.
Preference will be given to students who understand human body systems and have clinical experience or knowledge achieved either through participating in a clinical research or by volunteer work.
Ability to prioritise concurrent multiple projects and updating key internal stakeholders while developing and maintaining relationships with them are key to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the implementation of clinical research, clinical evidence documentation, design projects, post market clinical follow up, sustaining projects, process improvement activities, and product testing
* Assist in the research, evaluation, development or testing of products and processes using clinical and/or engineering skills within Quality Standards
* Communicate effectively with internal customers and liaise with internal customers e.g. product development, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, manufacturing and marketing in relation to clinical issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Currently undertaking a Health Science degree (medicine, nursing, psychology, physical therapy, occupation therapy, paramedics, etc) or equivalent
* From an indigenous background
* Understand human body systems
* Clinical experience or knowledge achieved either through participating in a clinical research or by volunteer work
