THE ROLE:
We are an architecture & interior design studio located in the inner-city suburbs of Melbourne. We specialise in high-end residential projects and are looking to expand our services in landscape design.
We are searching for a resourceful, precise and confident landscape architect who shows design initiative to join our team on a flexible arrangement with the intent to grow into a full-time roll. You will be joining a collaborative team of individuals within a fast-paced creative design office.
You will be responsible to oversee the landscape design process of a project including initial quotation, design concept, liaising with clients, source and specify products, materials and finishes, as well as deliver quality documentation.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Min 5+ years' landscape design experience with a well-presented portfolio of works;
* MUST be proficient in Revit & Vectorworks experience in Lumion preferred;
* Previous experience in developing fee proposals & be able to accurately quote projects;
* Good knowledge of plant selection & arboriculture;
* Excellent written and spoken communication internally and externally;
* Efficient in producing design documentation combined with awareness and execution of the time and planning of the projects;
* An exceptional eye for detail;
* Positive and professional attitude and approach;
* Works well under pressure, self-motivated and works well with team.
Hourly rate based on experience.
