What we are looking for
We are looking for a HR all‐rounder to join our existing HR team at our Eight Mile Plains office. This role covers all aspects of HR including recruitment, performance management, compliance, award interpretation and workforce planning. Reporting directly to the Corporate Services Manager, this is a fast‐paced role in a challenging and ever‐changing industry, so we are looking for someone who is hard‐working, efficient and adaptable. Regular travel to Toowoomba will be required. This role is suitable for candidates with experience in the field or new graduates that want to be supported to learn the role.
Key Skills & Attributes
* Previous experience or willingness to learn recruitment processes
* Process orientated with a high level of attention to detail
* Positive attitude with the ability to influence and connect with stakeholders
* Ability to manage multiple tasks
* Experience interpreting awards (knowledge of the SCHADS award will be highly regarded)
* Qualification in HR or studying towards

About the Role
* Working closely with recruitment team to complete end‐to‐end recruitment and training
* Liaise with external HR advisor to support managers through disciplinary processes
* Creation of HR templates, PDs, document control, contracts and other HR documentation
* Assist with HR projects and policy development
* Assist with reporting of HR Metrics
* Assist with performance management, reviews and changes in allowances/pay items
* Assist with fortnightly payroll as required
* Assist in the interpretation and application of awards and Fair Work standards across the business
* Ad‐hoc duties as required
