SC Technology Group is one of Geelong and Ballarat's leading providers of document related IT solutions. Our clients include major corporate firms, government agencies and SMEs. We are strategically aligned to Toshiba Australia, and are their leading distributors of black and white and colour multifunctional equipment along with software solutions for office productivity and document management. We have an exciting opportunity of sales trainee for the right individual who would like to develop their career in sales and work closely with cutting edge technology.

What the role is:


•An intensive 12 month training program has been developed which will see you become a fully self sufficient and successful Business Development Manager


•You will be "shadowing" the Sales Manager and existing sales staff who will train you to identify and creating new business with the use of a phone, database and face to face appointments.

What you will bring:


•The key to success is a strong hunger and desire to succeed within a competitive B2B sales environment.


•Previous face to face sales experience is not required but ideally you will have cut your teeth in a high activity sales role.


•An understanding that high activity leads to high results and a willingness to put this into action.


•Strong influencing and negotiation skills at all levels of commercial business.


•Ability to take a deal from its instigation through to close with the know how to be creative.


•You will need to be well presented, energetic and confident in approach with a 'go getter' attitude.


•You will be highly personable, have excellent communications skills and not be afraid to build new relationships either via the phone or face to face.

•All the usual tools of the trade as well as telemarketing support.

This role will ideally suit an individual who is financially motivated, and who enjoys working in a professional but fun 'hunter' sales environment.
