About The Opportunity
Our Hudson Trade Centre Mitre 10 store in Kirrawee, NSW is looking for a reliable and organised Dispatch Team Member to join our team and support the day-to‐day delivery operations.
This is a fast‐paced, hands‐on role where you'll assist with coordinating deliveries, supporting drivers, and helping ensure orders go out accurately and on time. You'll play an important part in providing a smooth and positive experience for our customers and builders.
This is a full‐time position, Monday to Friday.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assist with scheduling and confirming delivery orders using our Delivery Management System (DMS)
* Support the coordination of delivery runs and communicate with drivers
* Keep customers updated on delivery timeframes and any delays
* Help resolve basic delivery issues as they arise, escalating where needed
* Allocate and organise stock within the warehouse, following safety procedures
* Support with purchase orders and general admin tasks for the timber yard
* Provide general support to the Store Manager and wider team with daily operations
What you'll bring
* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics/dispatch, or trade environment (highly regarded but not essential)
* A willingness to learn and take direction in a busy environment
* Strong communication skills and a customer‐focused attitude
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to problem‐solve and stay calm under pressure
* Basic computer skills (experience with DMS or similar systems is a bonus)
* Forklift licence (essential)
