The Opportunity
Sales Consultants at our Hornsby club (known at Fitness First as Member Support Consultants) are the driving force behind the club's success. They are the first people to interact with members and inspire thousands to begin their journey toward greater activity, fulfilment and confidence. You will drive membership growth by performing outreach activities and converting leads into members, while also aiding retention through exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to club sales budget using sales promotions and referral campaigns
* Generate and convert high‑quality sales leads through community outreach, referrals and new business opportunities
* Achieve required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities
* Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members
* Create great member journeys through positive and personalised interactions
* Achieve successful outcomes to enquiries
* Open and close the club as per the club roster
* Actively involve in member retention programmes and inspire members to continue their fitness journey
* Make regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged and recommend club‑based products that enhance results and experience
Requirements
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate
* A problem‑solving mindset – able to provide solutions that meet prospective members' needs
* A gift for communication – able to talk to anyone with ease and inspire action
* Drive – goal‑focused and constantly seeking ways to excel and improve performance
* A team player – can rally through tough times and celebrate personal and team success
* Customer focused – build rapport with people from all backgrounds and motivate them to achieve goals
