About the Role
During the performance of their normal lecturing role, a principal lecturer will focus on leadership and qualitative improvement in educational processes and programs. The principal lecturer will be expected to have outstanding skills and qualities in education delivery with a focus on quality teaching and learning. The position involves teaching responsibilities and college or system-wide educational leadership, including curricular development, teaching initiatives and industry liaison. It focuses on working with colleagues to enhance lecturer capability across various domains. Relevant expertise lies in adult learning and organisational development.

Collaboration & Delivery
As the principal lecturer within the Innovative Practice team, you will collaborate closely with the eLearning team, learning & development consultant, quality consultants, managers, and other principal lecturers. You will identify, design, and deliver capability development initiatives that support contemporary teaching practices and improve skills that drive workplace performance.
Qualifications and Experience
A higher teaching qualification (Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Diploma, or Master's) is required. It is preferred that candidates already possess a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at the time of application or can demonstrate progression towards the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Other Conditions and Eligibility
Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance.
