The Opportunity
We are searching for a highly experienced and
strategic HR professional
to join the team as a
Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP)
.
This is a critical,
hands-on strategic role
where you will be the key HR interface for senior business leaders. You will directly influence organisational performance, drive significant cultural change initiatives, and elevate the people-first agenda. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully partnering with executive and operational leaders in
industrial or construction environments
to translate business strategy into impactful people outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior HRBP, you will be a change agent and strategic coach:
Strategic Coaching & Culture:
Proactively coach and empower
Senior Leaders and Managers
to foster a high-performance, values-driven culture and build exceptional leadership capability across the business.
Cultural & Change Leadership:
Design and lead focused
cultural change initiatives
that significantly enhance employee engagement, retention, and well-being across all operational sites.
Talent & Capability Building:
Design and facilitate targeted development programs that build
critical leadership skills
and future-proof our talent pipeline.
RTW:
Partner with the HSEQ Advisors in Return-to-Work cases (RTW), ensuring that these are well managed.
Strategic IR/ER Management:
Partner with managers to provide expert, commercial advice and resolution on complex
Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR)
matters.
HR Strategy Implementation:
Drive and execute the full employee life-cycle strategy, ensuring seamless delivery of all core HR services while providing
strategic counsel
on all people-related decisions.
Best Practice & Compliance:
Maintain expertise on evolving
HR trends, legislation, and best practices
to continuously elevate the HR function and ensure regulatory compliance.
A tertiary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
7+ years
of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of
3 years
operating as a strategic HR Business Partner or in a similar senior leadership support role.
Strong, hands-on understanding of the building, construction, or civil infrastructure industry
is highly regarded.
Demonstrated success in designing and implementing impactful HR strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage credibly at all levels of the organisation.
Ability to travel interstate
to key operational sites when required (essential).
