Disability Support and Youth Worker Role
We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide person-centred support for individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, as well as those who require emotional support and assistance with mental health needs.
The ideal candidate will be empathetic and compassionate, decisive and dependable, a great communicator, and a team player. Key responsibilities include providing personal care with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, promoting independence by helping clients attend medical appointments and community events, and ensuring health, safety, and dignity in all aspects of clients' daily routines.
Required qualifications include a Certificate III in Individual Support (or a related qualification), current National Police Check, valid First Aid Certificate, Yellow and Blue Cards, a reliable car available for work, and a minimum of six months' experience in disability support, youth work, aged care, or a similar sector.
