Job Title: MR Truck Driver / Loader
Job Summary:Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods using an MR-class truck, while also assisting with loading and unloading operations.
Ensures all products are transported and handled efficiently, vehicle safety standards are met, and customer service is maintained at a professional level.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate an MR-class truck in compliance with all road, safety, and company regulations.
Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance needs.
Safely load and unload goods using correct manual handling techniques or equipment.
Secure loads properly to prevent movement or damage during transport.
Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and paperwork.
Liaise effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
Assist in warehouse duties, including sorting, packing, or pallet wrapping when required.
Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
Represent the company with professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
Skills & Requirements:
Valid MR (Medium Rigid) driver's license.
Experience in driving and manual handling/loading preferred.
Good physical fitness and attention to safety.
Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
