About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of business and taxation clients within a dynamic Chartered Accounting environment. You will gain exposure to complex commercial matters while developing strong technical and advisory skills across a range of entities and industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of BASs, financial statements and income tax returns
* Working with companies, trusts, SMSFs and company group structures
* Assisting with tax planning and business advisory matters
* Liaising directly with clients and providing high-quality service
* Analysing financial information and assisting with strategic outcomes for clients
* Working collaboratively within a technology-driven and professional team workplace
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in public practice accounting
* Experience preparing BASs and tax returns for:
o Companies
o Trusts
o SMSFs
o Company groups
* Strong analytical and planning skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* A strong customer service focus
* A dedicated attitude and genuine desire to succeed in Chartered Accounting
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Experience with accounting technology and cloud-based systems preferred
