About Us:Olympus Cheese are Australian made and owned, award winning, preservative free cheese producers, local to Brisbane since 1974.
With proud Cypriot roots, Olympus Cheese uses recipes passed from generation to generation to make largely by hand our signature Halloumi, Ricotta and Fetta.With an emphasis on quality, fresh products with no additives we pride ourselves on a quick to market, superior tasting cheese.
Now Olympus Cheese is looking to launch some new Dairy products, which includes Paneer and Indian-style yoghurt.
About Role:In particular, we are seeking individuals with strong knowledge of Paneer cheese and yoghurt quality standards, including sensory expectations, texture, taste profiles, and authenticity that align with consumer preferences in this demographic.
This is crucial not only for product development and consistency but also for effectively communicating product value to customers and retail partners.The position will also play a key role in expanding our distribution network, engaging with culturally relevant retail channels, and shaping our marketing approach.
As demand for authentic Indian dairy products continues to grow, this role is essential to help us scale production, maintain high-quality standards, and connect more effectively with our target customer base.Main Responsibilities:1.
Market Development & Expansiono Identify and build relationships with retail stores, distributors, and foodservice operators (e.g., Indian restaurants) across Queensland and New South Wales.o Assist in developing and executing a strategic plan to expand the Desi Valley Dairy brand into new geographic regions and ethnic communities defining campaign goals, KPIs, and success metrics aligned with business growth targets.2.
Product Quality Supporto Provide ongoing feedback to the cheesemaking team to refine the quality, flavour, and texture of Paneer and yoghurt to match cultural expectations.o Collaborate with production to maintain consistent product standards aligned with traditional Indian dairy preferences.3.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Managemento Build strong relationships with customers from the Indian, Pakistani, and Nepalese communities through culturally appropriate communication.o Collect customer feedback and translate insights into product and marketing strategies.4.
Multilingual Communicationo Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders in multiple South Asian languages (e.g., Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Nepali), enhancing trust and engagement.5.
Marketing & Brand Supporto Organise and participate in cultural festivals, food expos, product tastings, and in-store promotions to raise brand awareness and educate consumers.o Work closely with the marketing team to tailor messaging to resonate with South Asian audiences.o Provide strategic advice to the executive team on advertising strategies, market opportunities, and campaign effectiveness, supporting business growth through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives and programs.o Coordinate production of marketing materials, including artwork, copywriting, and media scripting, ensuring all content is aligned with brand messaging and objectives.o Advise on strategic marketing initiatives such as product mix, pricing, sales promotion, and distribution channels to maximise brand visibility and align marketing efforts with business goals.o Produce, curate, and schedule content for social media platforms and websites, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and developing creative content to drive brand awareness.6.
Product Development Inputo Assist in the development of new dairy products or line extensions (e.g., yoghurt texture/flavour profiles) that align with evolving customer preferences.o Help guide the sensory profile and authenticity of products, ensuring they meet expectations for traditional Indian cooking applications.7.
Internal Collaboration & Strategyo Liaise between sales, production, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution of growth strategy for the Desi Valley Dairy product line.o Use statistical and analytical methods to evaluate the impact of pricing strategies on sales and profitability, adjusting strategies based on data and market conditions.o Track and analyse campaign performance metrics, including ROI, lead generation, conversion rates, and engagement, providing regular reports to senior leadership with data-driven recommendations for improvements.o Continuously review and recommend updates to marketing content, including digital ads and website copy, to improve search engine metrics and enhance consumer engagement.o Contribute to long-term planning to help the business adapt to changing demographics and consumer demand.Eligibility Requirements:
• Advance Diploma, Bachelor or higher qualification in related field
• At least one year of experience in same field
• Multi-lingual with Hindi, Urdu or any other Asian language for promotion of products.

• Good knowledge of some popular Indian dairy products.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

• Creative thinker with the ability to adapt and innovate based on market trends.Salary - $76,500 - $80,000 plus superOnly eligible and shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
