About The Role We are seeking an experienced
Consultant Psychiatrist
to join a
Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs team
in the Central Australia region. This role offers a rare opportunity to work across both forensic and community mental health settings in one of the most unique and culturally rich parts of Australia.
This position is ideal for a specialist who is passionate about making a difference in remote and Indigenous health while contributing to teaching and training programs for medical students and psychiatry registrars.

Specialist Clinician: $248,765 - $304,012
Senior Specialist Clinician: $314,354 - $347,549
Additional allowances:
Professional Training Allowance: $21,603 - $27,967
Second Roster Allowance: $41,433

Responsibilities
Deliver expert psychiatric care across community and forensic settings (50:50 split)
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health outcomes
Contribute to teaching psychiatry to medical students and postgraduate trainees
Flexible working arrangements considered
What You'll Bring
Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent
Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
