Overview
Freight link couriers are on the search for an experience supervisor to help lead our team from our newly opened facility in Townsville. We're looking for an energetic, hands on Operations Supervisor who leads from the front and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and can move heaven and earth to get the job done. You need to be well oriented with the use of electronic POD scanners, understanding the importance of scanning and willing to educate and guide your team in the use of scanners.
Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and supervise a team to deliver high-quality results.
* Coordinate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
* Analyze daily performance results and work with managers to address productivity and utilisation.
* Jump in, assist and lead from the front.
* Maintain safety and quality of work.
* Problem solve mindset and can adapt to a very fluid environment.
* Communicate with your team and Operations Manager.
