Join us in shaping the future of healthcare in Regional Queensland.To provide a professional medical imaging service to the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service in the areas of general radiography, specialised procedural radiography, CT, mobile and operating theatre radiography.What we're looking for:Demonstrated technical ability to perform radiographic examinations.Demonstrated ability to utilise effective communication skills to liaise with staff and patients.Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.Ability to acquire understanding of Quality Management processes.Ability to comply with the requirements of Workplace Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination Policies and behaviour in the work environment.Preferred Qualifications:Mandatory possession of a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification, preferably in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography) and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Radiation Use License issued by Queensland Health - Radiation Health.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association.
