Our client is a large values-focused Federal Government Agency delivering services across the disability ecosystem and supporting operational decision-making through performance reporting and analytics.
They are seeking an APS5 Data and Reporting Analyst to extract, analyse and visualise data, produce consumable reports and dashboards, and provide insights to support workload management and emerging risk identification.
Role Details
* Location: Geelong, VIC
* Rate: $55.24/hr + Super (APS5 level)
* Eligibility: Australian Citizen (mandatory)
* Working Arrangement: Hybrid 2/3 split
* Contract: Initial term until 31st December - likely extensions
About the Role
You'll focus on identifying and communicating key trends and insights, and collaborate with business areas to develop and implement reporting and analytics that address key risks and emerging trends.
Key Responsibilities
* Extract, manipulate and present data to produce high-quality reports and visual outputs
* Analyse and interpret results to generate insights and communicate findings to varied audiences
* Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, cleansing and QA
* Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks and visualisations across tools/platforms
* Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
* Maintain technical/procedural documentation to support consistency and transparency
* Support project coordination activities including planning, task tracking and activity reporting
What We're Looking For
* Strong data analysis and reporting capability with experience building reports, dashboards and visual outputs
* Confidence working with stakeholders and translating business questions into usable reporting products
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and quality assuranceAbility to manage competing priorities in a demanding and changing environment
* Desirable: Experience within the Australian Government or Health/Disability services
