Responsibilities and duties
* Reading and interpreting plans and specifications, determining the correct sequences, methods and costs.
* Building, testing, installing, troubleshooting and repairing developmental and production electronic circuitry and devices.
* Providing assistance to Electrical Engineer, to in electrical installation and circuitry design and layout.
* Inspecting electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
* Analyzing and calculating corrections for equipment installation practices to maximize efficiency, enhance installation schedules and reduce costs.
* Repairing, modifying and replacing all facility and electrical components.
* Documenting processes and maintaining electrical service records.
* Participating in and provide support for team initiatives in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Qualifications and employment experience
* Diploma degree is required, or 3 years relevant working experiences.
* Demonstrated skills and knowledge of Electrical Engineering Technician.
* Robust knowledge working with Rockwell/Allen‐Bradley PLC systems.
* Experience with other PLC systems such as Siemens and Omron.
* Experience working on HMI screens.
* Experience in instrumentation and variable speed drives (VSD's).
* PLC programming (especially in Siemens).
* SCADA/HMI Programming (especially Ignition).
* Industrial Ethernet Networking.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
