The Role
This is more than a branch management role — it's an opportunity to run your own business within a global organisation.
Based in Port Hedland, you will take full ownership of commercial performance, customer relationships, safety, and team leadership across a critical regional market. If you thrive on driving revenue, building strong industry partnerships, and leading from the front, this role offers both challenge and reward.
We're looking for a commercially astute leader with strong B2B sales and business development capability, ideally from a trade, industrial, gas, or welding environment.
Additional responsibilities in this role also include:
* Own and deliver profitable revenue growth through strategic pricing, margin optimisation, and disciplined contract management.
* Drive new business acquisition while expanding and strengthening existing customer accounts across the region.
* Lead the branch's full operational performance including distribution, retail operations, inventory control, and cost management.
* Build and maintain a strong market presence in gas and welding equipment through proactive industry engagement and partnerships.
* Analyse competitor activity and market trends to implement decisive, commercially focused strategies.
* Promotea safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards
* Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team, building capability and succession within the branch.
* Deliver exceptional customer experience by creating long-term partnerships and innovative, value-driven solutions.
Skills and experience we are looking for
* Proven success in BDM and B2B sales within industrial, trade, or related sectors
* Strong commercial acumen including pricing, negotiation, and contract management
* Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts and convert new opportunities
* A results-driven mindset with strong time management and initiative
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Experience in welding, fabrication, or industrial environments (highly regarded)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems (SAP advantageous)
* Current Driver's Licence (essential)
