We’re partnering with a well-established civil contractor to appoint a Senior Estimator in Bendigo. This is a broad role with real influence across tenders, bid strategy and process improvement, working across a diverse mix of civil projects.
Project types include earthworks, roads, pavements, drainage, water and general civil works .
The role
Lead tenders from initial review through to submission Prepare take-offs, BOQs, cost plans and pricing Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing Review methodology, risks and commercial opportunities Support tender handover to delivery teams Mentor junior staff and add value across the function About you
Estimating experience in civil construction or infrastructure Strong exposure to roads, drainage, earthworks, pavements, water or utilities Able to manage multiple tenders across varied project types Commercially sound, practical and contractor-minded Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Why this role
