Overview
The Royal Hobart Hospital is the tertiary referral hospital for Tasmania and the principal teaching hospital for the University of Tasmania Medical School. The Department offers experience in trauma, hand and wrist surgery, skin cancer, burns and general paediatric and adult reconstructive surgery. There is active teaching and a research culture, with opportunities to publish.
Duties
Responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility. Provide after-hours emergency care as determined by the relevant work unit.
Essential Requirements
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
