About the Role
This position involves working on a part-time basis, with a flexible schedule that can accommodate 3 or 4 days per week. The company is a boutique building contractor specializing in commercial new build, fit out, and refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Recording transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Managing accounts payable and receivable.
* Handling payroll and superannuation.
* Reconciling bank accounts.
* Preparing BAS and other tax forms for the ATO.
* Assisting with financial reporting, including balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and accounting software XERO.
