The Role:We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with expertise in employment law and complementary experience in commercial work, litigation, or dispute resolution.This role offers the chance to work across a variety of matters, from high-level advisory to contentious disputes, while contributing to the growth of the firm's employment law practice.Your Responsibilities: Drafting and negotiating senior-level employment contracts, including CEO and executive agreements.
Representing clients in Fair Work Commission disputes such as unfair dismissal and adverse action claims.
Advising on employment law aspects of M&A transactions, including employee due diligence.
Providing risk management advice and delivering tailored client training on employment law issues.
Supporting or leading the employment law practice within the firm's established client base.
Billables:On average, the target is five billable hours per day.
However, the firm values quality work and client outcomes over strict adherence to billable hour targets, ensuring a balanced and flexible working environment.
