Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8 Quality Production Specialists to deliver high‐quality production outcomes.
* Oversee the review and validation of product non‐conformances, disposition types, quality procedures, and engineering requirements.
* Guide root‐cause analysis and failure investigations, applying advanced aerospace design and systems knowledge.
* Ensure effective implementation and oversight of corrective and preventive actions, monitoring timely completion.
* Review and approve quality planning changes and disposition of non‐conforming hardware, products, and processes.
* Establish and drive process and product improvements through technical initiatives.
* Monitor team performance and quality verification activities, providing regular reports and insights to program leadership.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including engineering, production, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
* Support the qualification of first‐of‐type products and new production processes at the Wellcamp facility.
* Promote adherence to Boeing's safety, quality, and compliance standards.
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous professional development within the team.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline (Highly desirable).
* Proven leadership experience in quality management within aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments.
* Deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
* Strong expertise in product non‐conformance review, root‐cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action management.
* Advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems integration, and failure analysis.
* Experience leading teams in a high‐pressure, fast‐paced production environment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams.
