Overview
Senior Solutions Engineer, Professional Services at LogicMonitor. This role leads the delivery of advanced technical solutions for enterprise customers, collaborates with Customer Success, Tech Support, and Training teams, and works directly with customers to tackle challenging projects and drive service excellence. This position is located in Sydney, Australia.
What You'll Do
* Lead Complex Deployments: spearhead large-scale, intricate Professional Services engagements to ensure seamless execution.
* Drive Product Enhancements: identify product gaps, feature requests, and issues, and communicate insights to Product and Development teams.
* Deploy Custom Integrations: implement tailored integrations using REST APIs to extend functionality within and beyond the LogicMonitor platform.
* Advocate Best Practices: share technical best practices and lessons learned with peers to elevate team performance.
* Stay Informed: monitor new product features, updates, and enhancements using internal resources.
* Collaborate on Scoping: act as a key sounding board for Solutions Architects during scoping of complex engagements.
* Plan Iteratively: prioritise and schedule deliverables using an iterative development approach to ensure agile delivery.
* Design & Implement Solutions: create, document, code, and test technical solutions for new tools, automations, or system enhancements.
* Agile Execution: implement solutions following agile software development methodologies for rapid, high-quality delivery.
* Customer-Centric Automation: translate customer requirements into automation products that support Professional Services growth.
* Envision System Enhancements: analyse business requirements to conceptualise new system features and functionalities.
* Troubleshoot & Resolve: diagnose and resolve automation or application issues to maintain optimal performance.
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 4+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise environments.
* 3+ years of hands-on development using Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
* Strong grasp of programming concepts and effective debugging techniques.
* Robust knowledge of modern web architectures, microservices, and APIs.
* Familiarity with AWS services and other cloud platforms.
* Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, innovation, or problem-solving.
Security Clearance
This role requires NV1 security clearance to work on Australian Government projects. Applicants must be Australian citizens to be eligible for this clearance.
