We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Infrastructure Specialist.
Job Description:
The role involves providing advanced technical support for all IT-related queries and troubleshooting at the user level. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software components. They should be skilled in troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring strong authentication levels, and implementing solutions within our technical stack.
Key Responsibilities:
* Infrastructure Management: Install and configure server hardware and software components to ensure usability and performance.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex server hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and data loss.
* Security: Ensure strong authentication levels (e.g., MFA) for internal and client systems to prevent unauthorized access.
* Hardware Maintenance: Recommend, repair, or replace damaged server hardware to maintain optimal system performance.
* Software Upgrades: Upgrade systems to enable compatible software on all computers to ensure seamless integration.
* Endpoint Security: Install and upgrade endpoint security software to protect users from cyber threats.
* Testing and Evaluation: Perform tests and evaluations of new software and hardware to ensure compatibility and effectiveness.
* User Support: Provide technical support to users and act as a point of contact for error reporting.
* Relationship Building: Establish good relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A clean uniform, neat grooming, no body odor, organized equipment and tools, a clean vehicle (if applicable), and polite communication are essential.
