Project Accountant – Decommissioning Project
We are seeking a capable and collaborative project accountant to support a major decommissioning project based in our Southbank office, Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring effective financial management across a large‐scale and technically complex project, partnering closely with project and commercial teams to deliver accurate reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, monitor and analyse project financials, including budgets, forecasts and cost tracking.
* Partner with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision‐making.
* Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting, including variance analysis.
* Support project governance through compliance with financial controls and processes.
* Assist in financial planning, cash‐flow management and cost control initiatives.
About You
* Experience in a project accounting or finance role, ideally within construction, engineering or infrastructure.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with attention to detail.
* Collaborative approach with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams.
* Effective communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly.
* Relevant qualification in accounting, finance or related discipline.
