Your new role
As the Microsoft Teams & SharePoint Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and optimising Microsoft Teams and SharePoint across the organisation. You will collaborate with a small project team to ensure a seamless migration and adoption of modern workplace tools.
Key responsibilities
* Configure and set up MS Teams for the entire organisation, including structure, access, and permissions.
* Migrate remaining SharePoint 2016 (on-premises) content to SharePoint Online (M365), redesigning from classic to modern.
* Develop workflows and automation using Power Apps and approval processes.
* Conduct audits of existing SharePoint sites to ensure relevance and reduce duplication.
* Establish governance frameworks for Teams and SharePoint, including naming conventions, retention schedules, and permissions models.
* Provide technical documentation, training, and handover to ICT support teams.
* Support stakeholder engagement and user adoption through training and post-implementation support.
What you'll need to succeed
* 3-5 years' experience as a Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Administrator.
* Strong understanding of MS Teams and SharePoint environments.
* Experience implementing organisation-wide solutions and governance frameworks.
* Familiarity with data retention, compliance, and recordkeeping principles within Microsoft 365.
* Ability to troubleshoot integration issues across M365 services (OneDrive, Outlook Groups, Power Platform).
* High-level experience with Power Apps and workflow automation.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders.
