Join the Central Legal and Governance Group supporting directors across various teams including Brand and Reputation, Technology and Commercial, and Group Insurance. Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to a central, Australian-based legal team with diverse practice areas and support needs.
* Manage diaries; prepare, format, edit and execute documents; maintain filing and document management systems (including version control and shared drives).
* Prepare and update presentations; process invoices and expenses with strong attention to accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
* Coordinate meetings and events; book travel; onboard new starters; support critical collaboration tools and expense management platforms; assist with IT needs.
* Proactively support day-to-day team operations, among other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
* 2-3 years'' experience in administrative support, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal team.
* A proactive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills, including with senior stakeholders.
* Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
* Confidence exercising judgment on routine matters and escalating issues with a proposed solution.
* Strong document and information management skills, including filing, version control and maintaining orderly shared drives.
* Confidence editing and formatting documents and presentations (Word and PowerPoint) to a professional, business-ready standard.
* Familiarity with expense management, vendor billing processes and collaboration tools, with an eye for identifying inconsistencies or issues.
